Rob Pizem is a professional climber and high school science teacher from Grand Junction, Colorado. He is best known for putting up a wide variety of long, top-quality routes.
Piz and Fritz headed to Unaweep Canyon outside of GJ and recorded the episode while climbing Questions and Answers, a classic three-pitch 5.10+ as well as a couple of his own singlepitch routes ranging from 5.11c to 5.13- .
@fredbill222 goofs off on a quality 5.11c
Piz has a relentless drive to establish routes that are worth repeating.
Chris Ryder working Jane’s Marathon, a 190′ 5.13 mixed route established by Piz. “I seriously thought it was going to be 5.11 when I was first wrapping the line!” Piz said.

Featured on the spray this week is Chatt climber Katherine Pardes. She first got her start climbing in the southeastern classic crag Sand Rock. After realizing that this was how she wanted to spend the rest of her time doing she immediately dove into trying to spend as much time as possible climbing all over.
Katherine lives in Chatt where she continues to chuff on all the climbs. Favorite climbs include long, chossy, adventurous trad climbs as well as any classic.
